„Wir haben unsere Partner der Divine Mercy High School und vom lokalen Rotary Klubs an einen Tisch gebracht – zuhören und miteinander reden lassen. Und so haben wir auch das Memorandum of Understanding für eine erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit beider Partner auf den Weg gebracht“, berichten Amelie und Corinna aus Kyotera.

Der strukturierte Fragenkatalog ist fast vollständig abgearbeitet. Und beide haben begonnen, das Gelände zu vermessen. Die Entnahme der Wasserproben zum Testen der Wasserqualität der Brunnen, von Regenwasser und öffentlichem Wasser ist eingeleitet.

Die Freude war groß, beim Besuch unserer langjährigen Partner Bishop Cornelius und seiner Mitarbeiter an den ARCOS Schulen in Gayaza (unserem vorherigen Projektstandort). Das wöchentliche Clubmeeting der lokalen Rotarier nutzten Amelie und Corinna um das geplante gemeinsame Projekt vorzustellen

Nun liegen noch einige anstrengende Tage vor Amelie und Corinna bevor sie am End er der nächsten Woche zurückkehren.

Successful first week

"We brought our partners from Divine Mercy High School and the local Rotary Club together - to listen and talk to each other. And so we succeeded to launch the Memorandum of Understanding for a successful collaboration between the two partners”, report Amelie and Corinna from Kyotera.

The structured questionnaire is almost completed. And they started to measure the school grounds. The collection of water samples to test the quality of water from the wells, rainwater and public water is initiated.

Great was the joy when visiting our long-time partner Bishop Cornelius and his staff at the ARCOS schools in Gayaza (our previous project location). At the weekly club meeting of local Rotarians Amelie and Corinna to jumped at the chance to present the planned joint project.

Now there are a still some exhausting days ahead of Amelie and Corinna before they return to Germany by end of the next week.
