21st October

Dear reader,

Today was a satisfying construction day. The morning we talked to some workers. The needed some advice on how to destruct the ceiling in the second floor of the boys hostel. After some clarifying discussions, we decided to install the chimney.

The morning, our second Indian colleague arrived on site and assisted to this task. Furthermore he organized some saw blades with his partner and some more administrative stuff. Chris and I used the time to prepare the pipes for the chimney, added some holes to connect the boiler in a proper way. Furthermore we discussed potential topics for the EWB India project execution workshop, where we will contribute with our knowledge gained from our work with our German chapter in Aachen. Chris will tell about his experience with his projects and I will probably do the PLANSPIEL workshop from last year, I presented for the international students in Aachen.

We are doing well. The weather changed a bit, now we got some unstable clouds at the sky, but well, good for the region and nevertheless the thermometer stays persistent at 30°C in the shadow. (Text by David Norta)
