Dear followers, We spent the last week in Bangalore to meet again some suppliers, after specifying the needs in Adoni. We got some measurements and were able to explain the solar suppliers where we plan to place the plant, what will be the pressure available, due to the different heights between the plant and the water tower. Meanwhile we came up with the urgent need of a new water boiler, since our old one seems to be not as stable as expected the last year. Based on this new fact we tried to meet at this second stay in Bangalore several kitchen suppliers. Since we did not take into account any change of the steam kitchen, we also didn’t work on the steam boiler back home, and on alternative concepts. So we had to become aware of this technology and a lot of discussions with different suppliers enlightened our little spark of boilers of the beginning of the week to a big fire of knowledge, burning in our heads. Based on the gained knowledge we will test the current boiler in Adoni, to define the need of a new boiler, or if a big maintenance job will do the job. Since we are not sure yet, we will see, but nevertheless we got enough contacts in Bangalore to get a high quality boiler, designed for our needs for a reasonable price. Furthermore we came up with the idea, in case we get the result that our system is highly inefficient, to replace the steam kitchen by an alternative solution. We are already in contact with some companies, for example a pellet stove supplier and another society promoting alternative efficient stoves in another area. Both contacts are promising, in case we are not going for the current discussion. Digesting all these new findings, a lot of discussions were going on between Chris and David. Furthermore we appreciate the fast answers from our back office in Aachen. The network works and we are coming closer to a solution. We are doing good, after a sick week of a lot of sneezing and coughing. It seems that we are not used to cold weather anymore, since it started raining the Monday, when we arrived in Bangalore.
