Eine der ersten aufkommenden Fragen zum Bau ist, ob doch Stahlbetonstützen anstelle des ursprünglich geplanten Mauerwerkes in den Ecken des Gebäudes verwendet werden sollen. Diese Stützen können die Kräfte des Daches bei Abheben unter Windlast aufnehmen. Die Änderung wäre bautechnologisch einfacher und wird von dem kenianischen Projektpartner bevorzugt. Im nächsten Schritt wird die Änderung preislich geplant und statisch nachberechnet, um eine Entscheidung treffen zu können.

One of the first questions to be asked about the construction is whether reinforced concrete columns should be used instead of the originally planned masonry in the corners of the building. These supports can absorb the forces of the roof when lifting under wind load. The change would be simpler in terms of construction technology and is preferred by the Kenyan project partner. In the next step, the change is priced and recalculated statically in order to be able to make a decision.
