Auf das lange Warten und die umfangreichen Vorbereitungen folgt nun die Implementierung. Am Montag, den 27.02.2023, hat der Aufbau der Photovoltaikanlage für das Schulzentrum der Arise Childcare Initiative begonnen. Das Design der Anlage basiert auf einem Konzept, welches in Zusammenarbeit mit einem lokalen, für den Aufbau betrauten Unternehmen ausgearbeitet und angepasst wurde.

Mit vor Ort sind das Unternehmen aus der Photovoltaik-Branche, das sämtliche Installationen übernimmt, sowie Engineers without Borders East Africa, die für uns einige dokumentarische Aufgaben übernehmen. Da es aus organisatorischen Gründen nicht möglich war ein Team aus Deutschland ausreisen zu lassen, sind wir sehr froh über die Unterstützung von Engineers without Borders, die bereits die Erkundung für uns durchgeführt haben.

Die Photovoltaikanlage soll innerhalb der nächsten gut drei Wochen aufgebaut werden. Es werden hier auf unserem Blog regelmäßig Updates zum aktuellen Stand des Aufbaus folgen. Schaut gerne auf dem Instagram Kanal von Ingenieure ohne Grenzen (ingenieure_ohne_grenzen_e.v) vorbei, auch dort wird es regelmäßig Posts zum Stand des Projektes geben.

The long wait and the numerous preparations are now followed by the implementation – on Monday, 27 February 2023, the installation of the photovoltaic system for the school centre of the Arise Childcare Initiative has started. The design of the system is based on a concept worked out and adapted in cooperation with a local company entrusted with the construction.

Also on site are the company from the photovoltaic sector, which is doing all the installations, and Engineers without Borders East Africa, executing some documentary work for us. As it was not possible for organisational reasons to send a team from Germany, we are very happy to rely on the support of Engineers without Borders, who have already carried out the reconnaissance for us.

The photovoltaic system should then be set up within the next three weeks. Regular updates will follow on the current status of the construction.
