Auch über die Tage rund um Ostern stand das Projekt nicht still. Es wurden letzte Kabel verlegt und die Photovoltaikanlage an das Stromnetz der Gebäude angeschlossen. Somit läuft diese bereits in einer Art Probebetrieb. Ein großer Dank gilt dabei All in Trade für die Installation der Anlage sowie Engineers Without Borders East Africa für die Koordination vor Ort.

All in Trade hat außerdem eine Schulung für die Mitarbeiter*innen des Schulzentrum durchgeführt. Neben einem grundsätzlichen Verständnis der Photovoltaikanlage sind die Mitarbeiter*innen nun in der Lage bei kleinere Störungen selbst zu beheben.

Jetzt stehen nur noch ein wenige Aufgaben an, bis die letzte Schraube montiert und das letzte Kabel verlegt ist. Sobald die Photovoltaikanlage vollendet ist, findet dann die Übergabe statt. Dabei werden alle Komponenten erneut auf ihre Funktionstüchtigkeit getestet.

Even during the days around Easter, the project did not stand still. The last cables were laid, and the photovoltaic system was connected to the power grid of the buildings. This means that it is already running in a kind of trial mode. A big thank you goes to All in Trade for installing the system and to Engineers Without Borders East Africa for coordinating the project on site.

All in Trade has also already trained the staff of the school centre. In addition to a basic understanding of the photovoltaic system, the employees are now able to take action themselves in case of minor malfunctions.

Now there are only a few very few tasks left until the last screw is mounted and the last cable is laid. As soon as the photovoltaic system is completed, it is handed over. During the handover, all components are tested once again to ensure that they function properly.
